Free while we build this
We're setting it up by hand for the first communities that want it. That doesn't scale, which is exactly why it's worth doing now.
What it costs today
Nothing
No card, no trial clock, no plan to choose. Add the bot, send us your content, and it answers.
No limit we've bothered to write down
There's a ceiling somewhere - we pay for the model that writes the answers - but no community has come close, and if yours does we'll talk before we do anything about it.
Nothing to cancel
Remove the bot from your server and that's the end of it. Ask us and we delete what we indexed.
Why free, and why now
We index the first batch of every community by hand. That's slow and it doesn't scale, so the number of communities we can take on is small - and each one teaches us something we'd otherwise guess at. Charging for that today would be charging you to be our test case.
When we do start charging
- • We'll say so here first, and tell the servers that already have it installed.
- • The communities on board by then keep what they have. That's the whole point of being early.
- • Nothing switches off without warning, and nothing gets billed without you agreeing to it.
The obvious questions
What's the catch?
You're the test case. We learn what breaks on real communities before we charge anyone, and you get the thing for free while we do. If that trade doesn't appeal, waiting costs you nothing.
Will you sell my content?
No. It's used to answer your members and for nothing else. The full version of that answer is on the privacy page.
How many communities are you taking?
As many as we can index by hand without missing the window we promise, which today is 48 hours. When that stops being true we'll stop taking new ones rather than quietly get slower.
